The material is a durable yet light weight plastic that is easy to clean.  It will not fade or rot.   

The Poultry Pod is designed to allow your chickens to free range during the day.  When the Poultry Pod is closed at night, we can attest that our neighborhood raccoon was not able to chew its way in or get in any other way. 

Assembly is easy with the included instructions and polycarbonate screws that snap together.  No tools needed!  Plus you can dissemble it just as easy.  You can even assemble it inside the house and carry it through a 36" door.

It is also easy to use.  The two nest doors are in the back (shown above) and the eggs are easily accessible.  The roof flips open for easy access as well.  The bedding type we prefer is wood shavings but you can also remove the entry piece (at the top of the ramp) if you are using straw or hay for easier cleaning.

All season use with vents.  If  you live in a colder climate, you can attach a light bulb or heat lamp with a safety shield to the roost.    

The shipping dimensions of the Poultry Pod is 48”x27”x4”, and at 20 pounds is easy for most people to carry.  Please see the photo for the assembled dimensions.

With the patent pending Poultry Pod, you can regulate the temperature year round with the vents and the ability to add a heat lamp or light bulb.
