FAQ about the Poultry Pod and raising chickens:
Heat Sources:
A heat lamp can be attached to use the coop as a brooder.
A light bulb can be attached to use as heat in sub freezing
temperatures.
Bedding:
Both pine shavings and straw can be used as bedding.
Cleaning:
The coop is good to separate sick or broody chickens from
the rest of the flock. Household cleaners can be used on the
plastic. Please make sure you rinse very well so the
chemicals do not affect the chickens.
